It has a slightly thinner face and shallower profile while the forged variable face thickness delivers more flexing for greater speed and forgiveness across the entire face. Ping's iconic Spinsistency™ promotes added control as a variable roll radius creates less loft low on the face to improve performance by reducing spin, resulting in faster speeds that generate consistently longer drives.

All drivers in the range feature a moveable weight in the back of the head to customise performance. In the G430 Max, a 25-gram, high-density tungsten moveable backweight influences shot shape up to +10 yards between the Draw, Neutral and Fade settings. There are also adjustable loft and lie settings.
